Actually, it was NOT designed to be Bypassed, doing so changes the loot table for events. It was not the intent for the trash to be bypassed, When the banner was enabled, it was an oversight that allowed the trash to be skipped. Don't be surprised when they turn off the Banners in Tower or Link the Trash to the events.

Yes Caio I went to FF this year. Bannering  in feature was an oversight by a Dev that no longer works for SOE. In doing so 2 things happen, 1. the Loot table is supposed to be different and 2. you do not get all the possible drops from the trash, regular and purity aug's.  The remaining Devs were unaware this was happening, so they claimed. Don't be surprised if they all of a sudden remove it from Tower and have the banner planted only outside the Tower itself. Personally, and you may hate this, they should remove it, there are guilds that have beaten the expansion but have not and can not beat the trash (5 Rings for example). There was talk of linking the Trash to the events and leaving the banners in the Tower, in effect, if you don't clear the trash, you can not do the event following the trash. Either way, everyone will have a different opinion on this matter and no one will be correct, because its just your opinion.

LOL im sure anyone that is in DT can manage to kill the trash. They are more a pita then anything. I have also seen a few posts on the forums that it can change the loot tables as well. I know CD always skips the trash and they are yet to see a warrior sword drop in many many months. Kill em, don't kill em doesn't much matter really, what else do we have to do anyways.
