Old modem took a dump but for some reason new modem will not let meÂ get past firewall to play EQ been at it 4 hoursÂ any suggestions?

I am not an expert - but I think more info needed. Is it broadband? Do u have switch/router? What kind of firewall - software or hardware?Â

You can run a dmz on your new modem to bypass the firewall on the modem. Probably the easiest route for now.
